Action Steps For South Dakota 6/3
Voter Registration
Monday, May 19: This is the final date to register to vote in South Dakota. You can download the voter registration form here: --> SD Voter Registration You must complete this form and take it or mail it to your: --> South Dakota County Auditor's Office.
Absentee Ballots
You can download an application online at: --> South Dakota Absentee Ballot Application. You must complete this form and take it or mail it to your: --> South Dakota County Auditor's Office. If you already have your absentee ballot, you may mail it in or bring it to your local polling place, if necessary.
Keep It Honest
We suggest that you check for your polling place, prior to the June 3rd election day. Check your voter registration, precinct and polling place information with the --> Voter Information Portal.
If you need a provisional ballot, please ask the judge at your elections office for one. You can read more about that, and other information, here: --> Help America Vote Act or here: --> Provisional Ballot Rules. If you see something that seems illegal or 'not quite right' in the South Dakota primary elections, please contact your Secretary of State office at 888-703-5328.
Calls
The most readily accessible volunteer job you can do is to --> Make Phone Calls. If you cannot afford the long distance toll charges, please contact me through this website for some help.
Contributions
Of course, she can always use your --> Contributions. Barack Obama outspent Hillary in Pennsylvania, but was not able to win that state. Imagine what the extra money could do for her through the rest of the primaries! They may be the deciding factor in winning. Please donate.
Working For The Campaign
If you are from South Dakota or near there, you may want to volunteer time helping in the Hillary Clinton for President effort. --> Sign Up To Volunteer In South Dakota OR, you can call or visit these headquarters:
| Vacancy | Please | Volunteer | For This |
If you do not live in, or near, South Dakota, please keep in mind that the Hillary Campaign is willing to pick up some of your travel expenses if you choose to volunteer in South Dakota. Find out more on the Hillary Clinton website: --> Travel For Hillary Clinton
If you are a South Dakota resident you may want to view these pictures and info of --> Hillary in SD and let them motivate you into --> Joining the Campaign.
Making Media and Other Contacts For Hillary
I leave it up to you whether you want to contact the --> South Dakota SuperDelegates. I think it would be worth trying. What you may want to do, that would be more helpful, is get signatures from a group of 20, 50, 100, or 200 people, and send one email. That would hold more weight.
One way you can help the campaign is to make comments on blogs, write editorials, or call radio & TV stations with your news and comments for Hillary. You can find a large list of media contacts here:
--> Hillary's Rapid Responders SD Media List
The list has each county, with the county newspaper link (click on the name). If you click on the A next to each, you will be taken to the contact info, including address for that paper. If you click on the C next to each, you will be taken to all the media contacts for that county.
